STREET LIFE Street photography for me is a state of mind. It is about looking into a subject and not looking at the subject. Having said that this genre comes in many forms, from the human being to a piece of wall art.
For me my home town of Birmingham for the last Eighteen years has provided an ever evolving canvas for me. For example the Custard factory in Digbeth, changes week by week in the form of Street Art in the near by side streets. The large car park opposite which was formally associated with the coach station, is a shrine to graffiti art.
In relation to the Custard Factory thing change weekly and you never know what we be about or whom for that matter. Recently i have seen Bev Bevan of ELO fame and Cathy Tyson formally of the Band of gold TV series. From the human form to the art form we go to the wall art. The Lions head, the Dragon, the Pagan man. All of which are superb to photograph.
Most of my images in this section are from 2015, but i will be adding in 2016 as the year progresses.
